Mrs. Naomi Guong, a resident of Dabo, a small farming community in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region, has voiced serious concerns over ongoing network connectivity issues plaguing the community. She attributes these problems to a network pole mounted on an electricity pole, which she says is disrupting reliable communication for residents.
Mrs. Guong called on telecom network service providers, district authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to address the situation by relocating the network infrastructure away from the electricity pole. She emphasized that such measures are essential to ensure stable and dependable network connectivity for the community.
Speaking to Info Radio in an interview, Mrs. Guong highlighted the dire condition of classroom infrastructure in Dabo. She noted that many schools face issues such as cracked walls and leaking roofs, creating significant obstacles to effective teaching and learning.
The community member also expressed concern over the state of healthcare facilities in Dabo. She revealed that local health centers lack basic amenities, including laboratories, hospital wards, and residential accommodation for nurses. Mrs. Guong appealed to the government, non-governmental organizations, and benevolent individuals to support efforts to complete healthcare projects and improve health service delivery in the area.
