Nakore-Chansa Technical Institute Appeals for Permanent Structures

The Chief of Nakore Community in the Wa Municipality, Naah Abdulahi Dawaanaa, has appealed to the management of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training, TVET to provide the community with a permanent structure for the Nakore –Chansa Technical Institute.

Speaking to Info Radio, Naah Dawaanaa explained that admission to the school has started this year, but they are using an uncompleted shea butter processing factory in the community as a temporal structure while appealing for a permanent structure.

“Students are coming for admissions but there is no structure to keep the students. We went to both our primary and junior high schools but we could not find space for the students.

We suggested that we should use the structure meant for shea butter processing as a temporal structure while we appeal to the government for permanent structures,” Naa Dawaanaa added.

The Queen Mother of Nakore,   Pogenaa Najat Imoru, added that the school will bring a lot of development into the community but the lack of classrooms and dormitories is affecting them.

Pogenaa Imoru bemoaned the electricity and health challenges in the Community.
