NDC: Dr Sabastian Sandaare retained as parliamentary candidate for DBI


Dr Sabastian Sandaare has retained his position as the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party in the Daffaima-Bussie-Issa (DBI) Constituency.


He managed to beat his opponent, Abu K Kansangabata, with 8 votes in the recently held primaries.


Out of the total 622 valid votes cast, Dr Sandaare pulled 311 votes whiles Abu K Kansangbata, the former District Chief Executive for the then Nadowli-Issa District and also a former Deputy Upper West Regional Minister got 303.


The atmosphere at the primaries was one of excitement and anticipation as party members and supporters gathered to cast their votes.


The race was a closely contested one, with both candidates putting up a formidable fight.


In the end, Dr Sabastian Sandaare emerged victorious, much to the delight of his supporters. His victory is seen as a testament to his hard work and dedication to the party over the years.


Speaking after his win, Dr Sabastian Sandaare expressed his gratitude to the party members for their unwavering support.


He promised to work even harder to deliver victory for the party in the upcoming general elections.


He said, “I am grateful to the members of the NDC party for their support and confidence in me. I promise to work tirelessly to secure victory for the party in the upcoming elections.”


Dr sandaare said the fight is now NDC fight not an individual one.


The NDC party members and supporters in the constituency have hailed his victory, and they believe that he is the best candidate to represent them in Parliament.
