The Paramount Chief of Dorimon Traditional Area in the Wa West District, Naa Alhaji Seidu Tungbani Salinbile II, has enskinned eleven (11) sub-chiefs and outdoored two queenmoters within the traditional area to assist him in administering the area.
The newly enskinned chiefs were Kulkpali Naa, Guomaali Naa, Sielaa Naa, Passele Naa, Gongo Naa, Jambusi Naa, Guwo Naa, Guwo Naa (Gandoko sub-chief), Zinye Naa, Dakpaltenga Naa and Kuzie Naa.
The Queenmothers were Dontanga Pog-naa (Divisional Queenmother) and Oli Po-gnaa Sub-queenmother.
Naa Salinbile administered the oath of allegiance to all the chiefs to support the Paramount Chief in developing the traditional area.
He urged them to uphold the dignity and sanity of the chieftaincy institution through their dressing and eating habits and general lifestyle.
He said the newly enskinned chiefs and queenmothers would be duly registered at the appropriate quarters to be recognised and hold themselves as such.

“The Registration Process starts at the Council with the approval of the CD (Chief Declaration) forms after they have been vetted by the Research and Traditional Affairs Committee and submitted through the standing committee to the general house”, Naa Salinbile explained.
The revered chief explained that all the chiefs and queenmothers he had enskinned were selected by the landlords of their various jurisdictions and submitted to him for the traditional process to go through.
The Dorimon Traditional Council also held a council meeting after the enskinment tradition to discuss pertinent issues in the traditional area. Issues discussed included the encroachment of the school and clinic lands in Dorimon.
The council observed with worry that some individuals are building unscrupulously around the school and the clinic which would make it difficult for them to get land for future development purposes.
The Council members suggested lands to be set aside for development purposes and to constitute a watchdog committee with representatives from the various communities to safeguard the lands.
Naa Salinbile also raised concerns about the indiscriminate sale of lands in the area and said sales within the traditional areas ought to be in consultation with the Traditional Council.
