DBI: Dr Sandaare files nomination to contest NDC primaries


Dr Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare, the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Daffiama- Bussie –Issa (DBI) Constituency has successfully filed his nomination forms at the NDC constituency office in Issa to officially launch the contest in the May 13, 2023, parliamentary primary to represent the constituency for the third time.


The Member of Parliament, Dr Sebastian Ngmenenso Sandaare in a short address to supporters was thankful to the supporters for granting him the opportunity again to contest in the parliamentary primary.


He called for peace, unity, and a decent campaign before, during, and after the primary to ensure victory for the party in the 2024 general elections.


He, therefore, called on the constituency party delegate to retain him as the parliamentary candidate to wrestle for power in the 2024 general elections in the constituency


Dr Sandaare stated that the 2024 election is a serious matter for the party and it is not for jokers.


He added that the delegate of DBI wants experience, not experimentation and he is very sure that he will win the contest.


The aspirants who have picked up the forms are expected to file their nomination forms on March 20, 2023.


The constituency elections director of the party, Mr Prosper Maaledoma and his team inspected the forms to ensure all the necessary documents are provided.


The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to elect a flagbearer and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.


Dr Sandaare the incumbent MP and one other person have picked up forms for the parliamentary primaries in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency.


The submission and filing of forms for parliamentary aspirants take from Monday, March 20, 2023, to Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at a fee of GH¢40,000 and the vetting for the aspirants will be held from 27th to 29th March.
