The longstanding issues affecting the School Feeding Program at Dalanyiri D/A Basic School in the Dornye Electoral Area of Wa West District have been amicably resolved, according to the Assembly Member for Dornye Electoral Area, Emmanuel Leayi Kyekuo.
Hon. Kyekuo confirmed that arrangements are now in place to ensure the ongoing feeding scheme at the school continues smoothly, dispelling previous concerns of disruption. He noted that the initial caterer, Sami John, has been replaced by a different service provider to improve service delivery.
In an interview with Info Radio in Wa, Hon. Kyekuo emphasized that the feeding program is currently operational and free of any confusion. "Feeding at Dalanyiri school is ongoing, and there are no issues," he stated.
Despite the positive developments regarding the feeding scheme, the Assembly Member expressed concern over the persistent shortage of teachers at the school, describing the situation as "woefully inadequate." He laments that the lack of sufficient qualified teachers continues to hinder the effective delivery of education at Dalanyiri.
