Wa West MP Supports Health and Education Development in His Constituency


The member of parliament for the Wa West Constituency Honorable Peter Lanchene Tuobu (Rt) has extended support to improve education and the health sector in his constituency.


The Wa West Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Wa West constituency disclosed that the Member of Parliament for Wa West, Superintendent Peter Lanchene Tuobu (Rt), has made tremendous contributions to the support of the education and health sectors in the constituency.


According to the NDC Wa West communications officer Mr Olinaa Ababaasa , the MP has supported students in tertiary institutions with cash amounts amounting to One Hundred and Forty Ghana cedis to enable them pay their school fees and also presented a cheque of Sixty Thousand Ghana with assorted medical equipment to the district health directorate to support in smooth health care delivery in the district.

Mr Olinaa Ababaasa Speaking to Info Radio said the MP has supported with cash amount to enable the conduct of mock examination to basic 9 students across the constituency towards their Basic Education Examination (BECE) in 2023.

He added that the MP has also donated and commissioned solar panels to the Peggbengben CHPS compoun and commissioned a borehole for the Charile CHPS compound

Mr Ababaasa, thus assured the district health directorate that the MP will provide a motor bike to the Maasi CHPS compound to enable health professionals easily access remote communities with health care services.
