Wa Flooded After Heavy Downpour

Most parts of Wa , the capital city of the Upper West Region has been flooded by torrential rains today Sunday 20th Sunday ,2020.

The rains which started around 11 am continued its outpour consistently for more than one hour .

The township of Wa, noted for its small drainage systems could not contain the heavy downpour from the rain.

Most parts of Wa, according to Info Radio reports recorded floods due to the inability of the public drainage systems to carry the rain water and poor siting of structures on water ways.
