Two groups in Dorimon partnered with Wa West MP to build a children’s ward for the Dorimon Health Centre


Mother to Mother and Father to Father Support groups in Dorimon have partnered with the Member of Parliament for Wa West Constituency Supt Rtd Peter Lanchene Toobu to build a children’s ward for the Dorimon Health Centre.


The initiative, spearheaded by the two groups, aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of the community. The ward, when completed, will provide a serene environment for the treatment and care of children.


The Member of Parliament for the constituency, Mr Lanchene, expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort, emphasizing the importance of community-driven projects that directly impact healthcare services.

On behalf of the District Health Director, Mr Halidu Shaibaa commends the Member of Parliament and the two groups for the collaborative effort to improve healthcare in the area.


Leaders of the groups commend the Member of Parliament for his continued partnership to improve the well-being of the community, especially its youngest members.
