The Member of Parliament (MP) for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Dr Sabastian Ngmenenso Sandaare, has criticized President Akufo-Addo's 2024 budget statement, stating that it offers no hope for Ghanaians.
In an interview with Info Radio, Dr Sandaare mentioned that the budget would only worsen the challenges faced by Ghanaians.
“We the minority has said that the budget is a budget statement of no hope. It is a ‘wahala budget’ and there is nothing good in it for Ghanaians. It is not a budget that can help to reduce the suffering of Ghanaians,” he stated.
He added that the “minority would carefully scrutinize the budget to uncover any deceitful intentions of the government.”
He also expressed his disappointment at the lack of measures to address the challenges facing the health sector in the budget.
