Residents of Ngarnvor in dire need of additional borehole

Residents of Ngarnvor in Takpo-Touri Electoral Area of the Nadowli-Kaleo District say they are in dire need of an additional borehole to make access to quality drinking easy for them.

They appealed to the government and development agencies for an additional borehole to help reduce challenges in accessing potable water.

They said the community depends on one borehole for potable water.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Madam Felicia Dongkpeyaga said the inadequate potable water has prevented them from getting potable water to drink in the community.

She indicated that most residents drink water from the river due to the mass population depending on the single borehole in the community.

Madam Elizabeth Pigee, a resident of the community, said they have to queue before they can get water for domestic use.

She said they spend precious time in search of water.

She lamented that their children sometimes do not bathe before going to school.

The residents thus appealed to the government and benevolent individuals to come to their aid with additional boreholes.
