Some residents of Jenebob in the Ga Electoral Area, Wa West District, have expressed worry about the frequent breakdown of the boreholes in the community making access to potable water a challenge.
Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Mentey Hamatey, a resident lamented that they have been contributing money to maintain the boreholes but they do not keep long due to the pressure on the boreholes as a result of the population.
He indicated that, if they could get one mechanized borehole it will help reduce their plight of having to contribute regularly to maintain the boreholes.
Mr Gyanyol Haditey, another resident of the community added that after repairing the boreholes, they would not last for a month before breaking breakdown again.
