People of Ducie bemoan stress in making telephone calls

People of Ducie, a community in the Ducie Electoral Area have bemoaned the stress they have to go through in order to make phone calls due to the lack of good network connection in the community.

They say they have to climb hills, especially in the evenings before they can make calls.

Speaking to Info News, Mr Kani Solomon said somebody recently got bitten by a snake in his search for network service to make a call.

Mr Kala Emmanuel, another resident, said some poles were brought to the community a day before the 2020 general elections to convince them that they were coming to erect a solar network, but have never returned after the election.

He appealed to them to come and complete the work for them.
