NDC Primaries, Wa West: Bandanaa confident of leading party to 2024 elections

Parliamentary candidate hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Wa West Constituency, Mr Bandanaa Patrick Pharuk, went through vetting on Monday expressing confidence in clinching the ticket to lead the party in the constituency to the 2024 election.

Explaining what happened at the vetting, Mr Bandanaa said he answered questions on a number of issues, including how to strengthen the party in the constituency.

At the end of the vetting, the panel announced that Mr Bandanaa had successfully passed and was eligible to run for office.

The news was met with cheers and applause, and Mr Bandanaa could not help but smile.

Addressing party faithfuls who gathered at the vetting grounds, he expressed the hope that after he emerged victorious in the parliamentary primary, all the contestants would come together to secure victory for the NDC coming 2024 general elections.

Mr Bandanaa Patrick Pharuk who is contesting for the third time said he knows the challenges of the district as well as its comparative advantages and is thus in the right position to bridge the development of the district.

He indicated that his track record of development initiatives in the constituency manifests his ideality in leading the party.

He noted that he has helped improve the health and education sector in the Wa West Constituency.

He, therefore, urged all delegates to give him the mandate come May 13 in order to grape victory for the NDC in the constituency in the general elections.
