NDC Primaries: Alhaji Hudu Mogtari passes vetting as he impresses panel


Alhaji Hudu Mogtari has successfully gone through the vetting process after he filed his nomination to contest in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Wa Central Constituency.


Alhaji Mogtari was required to face a panel of seasoned politicians who would determine his eligibility to run for office. The tension in the room was palpable, but Alhaji Mogtari was calm and confident.


He answered all the questions posed to him with ease and impressed the panel with his knowledge of the issues facing the constituency and his plans to tackle them.


At the end of the vetting, the panel announced that Alhaji Hudu Mogtari had successfully passed and was eligible to run for office.


After successfully passing the vetting process, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari called on the delegates to trust him.


He knew that he had more work to do, and he was eager to continue serving his community. This is the third time Alhaji Hudu Mogtari contesting for the Wa Central Constituency Parliamentary Primaries.


He contested in 2004 and 2012 but lost both elections to the incumbent Member of Parliament, Alhaji Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo.


The next stage was balloting, where candidates were allocated numbers on the ballot paper, and Alhaji Hudu Mogtari was delighted when he was given the number one ticket.


He knew that this would give him an advantage over his competitors as he would be the first name that voters would see on the ballot paper.


Alhaji Hudu Mogtari speaking to Info Radio thanked his supporters for their unwavering support.


He promised to continue fighting for their rights and improve their lives.


He asked his delegates to put their faith in him and vote for him as the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in Wa Central Constituency in order to emerge victorious in the 2024 general.


He noted that he has no fears in contesting his opponents.
