Mwinimaana Foundation Supports Education and Health Development in The Wa West District


A philanthropic organisation based in Massi, Mwinimaana Foundation has donated assorted books and medical equipment to the Wa West Health and Education Directorate to help improve educations and health care delivery in the district.

The Chief Executive Officer of Mwinimaana Foundation in the Wa West District Maasi Naa, Naa Mwinimaana ll speaking to Info Radio during the donation disclosed that his organisation Mwinimaana Foundation is a charitable foundation aimed at supporting the Wa West District and beyond in the area of health, education water and sanitation and to improve the livelihood of residents of the area.


According to Naa Mwinimaana ll , he is hopeful that their support to the Wa West District Education and Health Directorate will touch other organisations to emulate their good examples and also intervene in other areas of development.

Naa Mwinimaana ll disclosed that Mwinimaana Foundation will also be supporting other communities in need in the district to help improve their livelihoods.

Naa Mwinimaana, noted that they have so far donated streets light bulbs to seven schools in the Dorimon area and the Maasi CHPS compound to improve health delivery.


According to the Mwinimaana Foundation CEO said, “Charity begins at home” Henced, the need for the foundation to start its donation in the Maasi community before extending their support to other communities in the district.

Naa Mwinimaana indicated that the cost of the donated books is Two Thousand Five Hundred whereas; the medical equipment is worth Eight Thousand Ghana cedis.


The Wa West Health and Education Directors at the donation ceremony expressed their profound gratitude to the CEO of Mwinimaana Foundation while appealing to the CEO of the foundation to be extended some of their support to other schools in the district.
