Most Communities in Daffiama Bussie Issa District have potable water- DCE


The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Daffiamah-Bussie-Issa, Mr Nadi Imoro Sanda, says most of the communities in his district have access to potable water.

Speaking to Info Radio in an interview, Mr Sanda praised the government and development partners for providing the district with small-town water systems which has helped improved the water situation in the district.

“When we came into government it was only Daffiama that was having a small town water system in the whole district. But, the NPP has extended it to reach almost every household in Daffiama.

Now we have a small town water system in Tabiasi, Kojekpere,Issa, Fian, Bussie and we are currently working on a small town water system in Wogu. Almost every community has a borehole”, Mr Sanda added.

On electricity, Mr Sanda said the assembly has extended electricity to many communities in the district.

He mentioned that most communities would be connected to the national grid by the end of the second term of the New Patriotic Party government.
