Jah Bone narrates how he became a musician
Ghanaian reggae artist in the Upper West Region, Prince Karim popular known in the show biz as Jah Bone, has disclosed how he started his music career.
In an interview with Mwini Gabriel, host of Upper West’s most popular and authoritative radio morning show, Zienyaanye Upper West on Info Radio 91.1fm, he noted that, his enviable music career started when he was young where he was a drummer.
He revealed that, being a young fun lover growing up at Damango (now Savanna regional capital), he used to go to concert parties whenever a musician comes to the town adding, that is what motivates him to go into music.
During his youthful stage, he said, his dream was to be a musician, a footballer, a boxer or a soldier. Fortunately, he became a musician, which he said is a ‘dream come true’.
In a motivational message to young and coming artists, he said, “no matter how or wherever you are, you should work on your goals and you will actually achieved it.”
He advised the upcoming artist not to give up on working towards their goals. He has also called on them to well compose their lyrics before they record the tracks.
