Former UW/UE Regional Minister Confident in NPP’s New Upper West Executives
Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, former Upper West and Upper East Regional Minister, has expressed strong confidence in the newly elected executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after the party’s successful internal reorganisation in the Upper West Region.
On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the NPP concluded its regional-level elections, following earlier polls conducted at the polling station, electoral area, and constituency levels. In an exclusive interview with Info Radio, Dr. Bin Salih emphasized that the decisions made by delegates at all levels—from polling stations to the regional assembly—are final and authoritative.
He revealed his familiarity with many of the newly elected constituency executives and expressed trust in their ability to work effectively for the party’s growth and success.
Dr. Bin Salih urged the new executives to prioritize unity and collaboration, noting that previous disunity significantly contributed to the party’s loss of all parliamentary seats in the region. He stressed that a united NPP would be more appealing to voters and better positioned for future electoral success.
