The resident Midwife at the Eggu Community Health Planning and Services compound, Madam Noella Bagah has showered praises on pregnant women and families who come to the facility to seek medical attention.

According to her, when individuals and families make the health facility their first place of call when ill, health professionals stationed in the community will be in their best position to attend to their health needs effectively.

Speaking to a cross section of women and men in communities surrounding Eggu during a community engagement meeting , Madam Noella Bagah expressed satisfaction the rate of attendance by pregnant women to the health facility for health care .

The resident Midwife of Eggu however bemoaned a myriad of challenges that the health facility is bedeviled with which according to her impedes on the smooth delivery of healthcare services.

She mentioned the lack of maternity room cum delivery beds as well as the lack of accommodation for nurses as some of the challenges the facility is dealing with and therefore called on benevolent individuals and organisations to come to their aid.
