The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Daffiama-Busie Issa District, Hon. James Wor, has publicly commended health workers within the district for their dedication and service delivery despite ongoing infrastructural challenges.
During a recent tour of various health facilities across the district, Hon. Wor interacted with health staff to assess operational conditions and understand their pressing needs. He praised the district’s nurses and doctors for maintaining quality healthcare services in facilities that are in a state of disrepair.
“The commitment and professionalism of our healthcare workers are commendable, especially given the dilapidated state of some of our health infrastructure,” Hon. Wor stated. He assured the staff that efforts are underway to address some of the infrastructural issues, including the completion of ongoing projects at various facilities, which are already far advanced.
The District Health Director, Madam Genevieve Yiripare, highlighted the key areas requiring urgent intervention to improve healthcare delivery in the district. She emphasized that addressing these priority areas is critical to enhancing service quality and accessibility for residents.
Hon. Wor's visit underscores the district's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting health workers in their vital roles. Further updates on infrastructural developments and strategic plans are expected to be communicated in the coming weeks.
