Mr Koglee Banabal Livinus, a mental Health Officer at the Babile Polyclinic, has urged students of the Babile circuit to educate their friends and parents on mental health issues.
According to Mr Livinus, mental health disorders can happen to everybody and there is a need to create awareness about the effects of it among students.
He stated that the youth are involving themselves in hard drugs which can easily lead to mental challenges.
The mental Health Officer said this during the Babile Youth Development Association (BYDA) JHS quiz competition held at the Babile.
He said irresponsible parenting and ignorance among others are the cause of mental health challenges among the youth in recent times.
