Blue Light Pharmacy commissioned at Bamahu
Blue Light Pharmacy, a newly built pharmaceutical firm, has been commissioned to render pharmaceutical and health related services to the public.
The facility located at Bamahu opposite Blue Hill Hotel was opened to public service on Tuesday, 6th July, 2021.
Bamahu is a suburb of Wa, the Upper West Regional capital, predominated by farming and business activities making the town a very productive economic hub. The town also host the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS, Wa) giving it its fast-transforming feat in all facets of community development.
Speaking at the sidelines of a short ceremony to commission the facility, Pharmacy Technician at the firm, Denis Pogendeme Mwiniyelle, said the firm will render selfless services to the public including sales of medicines, prescriptions and run test for some health conditions.
Another Pharmacy Technician at the Blue Light Pharmacy, Felix Banornuma, assured the public that the firm has in stock all drugs peculiar to their health needs which they can resort.
He however advised that the firm does not offer 'controlled drugs' to the public.
At the short ceremony to commission the facility, Chaplain of the Wa Municipal Hospital, Father Stephen P Kangmennaang committed the facility into the hands of God.
The Priest urged the proprietor and workers of the pharmacy to render their services with compassion in service to humanity, saying that service to humanity is service to God.
The Pharmacy becomes the first of its kind within the Bamahu enclave and promised to rendering its services with “compassion of the heart”.
