Anwelle Foundation sets sights on sustainable development in Jirapa

The Anwelle Foundation has pledged to promote long-term community development and expand opportunities for underserved populations in Jirapa and beyond.

Speaking at the foundation’s launch, its founder and chief executive officer, Frank Anwelle, said the organisation would focus on empowering communities rather than relying solely on short-term relief.

The foundation’s priorities include education, vocational training, digital literacy and economic empowerment, alongside initiatives to create sustainable opportunities for vulnerable and marginalised people.

Mr. Anwelle said the organisation would work with local leaders and residents to identify pressing needs and shape programmes that respond directly to community challenges.

Abdul Karim Hakim, a student who has received support from the foundation, said the assistance had made a significant difference to his life and livelihood. He added that it had helped him access opportunities that would otherwise have been difficult to afford.
