Woman praises Bliss Eye Care for restoring child’s sight

Madam Bridget Le-ib from Nandom has praised Bliss Eye Care for assisting her son to be able to see well since he was born with eye problems.

This was when Bliss Eye Care, under its Bliss Sight for Kids project, organized free eye screening for children in the Babile Circuit, Lawra Municipality to mark World Sight Day.

This was in collaboration with the Priest at the Babile Roman Catholic Church, Reverend Zechariah Nabile.

Students from the Brifoh Senior High School and the Basic schools in the Circuit and teachers benefited from the screening.

Narrating the story, Madam Le-ib said the child could not see properly, with itchy eyes and would scratch the eyes till tears are flow.

Madam Le-ib disclosed that she has sent him to the hospital several times but the situation remained the same until she met Bliss Eye Care, and they were able to detect the problem and assured her through referral to do surgery on the child.

During the screening, they gave the child an eyeglass to wear and demonstrate to prove that, he can see well and also read well.
