Residents of Wechiau and Baleofili, in the Wa West District, have expressed their gratitude to the government for providing a hospital in their district under the Agenda 111 initiative.
They believe that the new hospital will improve their access to healthcare.
Speaking to Info Radio in their respective communities, the residents have stated that the work on the hospital project is progressing rapidly.
Although the project started recently, it is already at the roofing stage, and the structures are being erected as expected.

The residents have urged people not to politicize the building of the facility and the completion of the project, calling on the DCE, MP, stakeholders, Chiefs, and authorities involved in the construction to ensure that the hospital is completed on time.
The residents have also expressed concern about the poor condition of their road, which will be a significant challenge after the hospital is completed and put to use.
The Chief of Baleofili Yiribile, Naa Nandong, has stated that the hospital will benefit him and his people because they are close to it.
