Residents of Dole lament bad roads leading to district hospital

Residents of Dole in the Dabo Electoral Area of the Wa West District have lamented the bad nature of their roads leading to the district hospital which adversely affects timely access to health care services.

According to the residents, whenever sick people are referred to the health facilities at Dorimon or Wechiau, they go through a lot of challenges due to the bad state of the road.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Benjamin Waale, a resident, said the situation becomes worst during the rainy season.

Mr. Kenneth Mane, another resident, indicated that the deplorable state of the road put the lives of the people in danger in times of emergency.

Another resident from the community, Madam Salamatu Gafaro, recounted some instances where she got to the health facility late with her sick child and the nurses blamed her for delaying.
