The Assembly Member for Logu Electoral Area in the Wa East District, Mr Mohammed Issah, has appealed for the upgradement of the Loggu Health Centre to a Polyclinic to accommodate the high population of people that depend on the facility for health care service .
According to the Loggu Assembly member, many communities in the area including communities in the Wa West District and Wa Municipality depends on loggu health center for their health needs . This according to him exerts so much pressure on the the health facility. Mr Issah made the appeal in an interview with Info Radio in the community.
The Assembly Member indicated that in order to improve on the health care delivery at the facility the community had constructed a detention ward for children and are currently building another ward for the adults and appealed for the support of the Wa East District Assembly, well-meaning individuals and organizations to help them complete the project.
