Four babies were born safely at the Wa Municipal Hospital on Christmas Day. Madam Elizabeth gave birth to a baby boy at 1:02 am, making him the hospital's first Christmas Day baby of 2023.
According to the midwife for the hospital, Samiatu Haruna Zakaria, there were three deliveries between 12:00 am and 10:00 am on December 25th, 2023. Among the deliveries, one was a twin, a boy and a girl.
All deliveries were successful and did not require cesarean surgery, and there were no reported deaths. Madam Samiatu has encouraged pregnant women to seek medical attention promptly when it is time for delivery. Let’s listen to her.
