Former NPP constituency chairman extols DBI DCE, Nadi Imoro Sanda

Former Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon Martin Nawaama Andonye has extoled the District Chief Executive for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa (DBI), Hon Nadi Imoro Sanda, for his selfless dedication to duty.

He said the DBI DCE is but one of the best appointees in the upper west region that the party can be proud of.

The former chairman said this on Info Radio’s Ti Zine Yiri Yele following a conviviality he organized over the weekend to mark his 8 years of chairmanship.

He has ranked the DCE best of all among all the 11 Municipal and District Chief Executives in the region.

He cited that it was out of the DCE’s commitment to duty and service to people that won him the NPP parliamentary candidature for the DBI constituency for the 2020 general elections.

“Imoro Nadi Sanda was the only DCE aspirant for parliamentary candidate who won the primaries and you asked why; he had served his people and party well,” Hon Andonye said.

Evidencing the good works of the DBI DCE, Hon Andonye cited that he [the DCE] spent selflessly out of his own pocket to serve party and people saying “that is why he has not put up buildings like the ‘others’”.

Hon Andonye also ranked the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Alhaji Issahaku Tahiru Moomin second behind Imoro Sanda for the massive developmental projects he has undertaken in the Wa municipality.

He cited the redevelopment of the Wa Central Market among the achievements which are praiseworthy.

He however, urged the MCE to relocate the lorry park from the market to another location to enhance development.

He said it has not always been easy taking such initiative but that the end always results in the much-desired development, citing the case of the Wa Magazine – auto-mechanics and automotive repairs centre in Wa – which started on a difficult note but now yielding greater returns.

The former constituency chairman urged the Municipal and District Chief Executives to emulate the example of Imoro Sanda in the exercise of their duties.

He admonished the MMDCEs in the region to turn over new leaves before their attitudes land the party in opposition come 2024.

Hon Martin Andonye has been the NPP Chairman of the Nadowli-Kaleo District for two terms, making 8 years of reign until he lost in the just ended constituency elections to Mr K.O. Yengeh.
