A cross-section of the public in Wa, Upper West Region has expressed shock over the demise of His Eminence Richard Cardinal Kuuia Baabwobr, M.Afr.
Madam Benedicta, a resident at Kpaguri says that she is shocked to hear of his death adding that, she still finds it difficult to believe that the Cardinal is dead.
She said she was happy that there was going to be a cardinal in the region at long last, but could not believe he [Cardinal Baawobr] would die this sudden.
Mr. Alex, another resident also added that he is still waiting to get more information to confirm or otherwise the death of Cardinal Baawobr.
He described the Cardinal as someone who is caring, loving and above all someone with the word of God.
He said after all he is dead and there is nothing they can do about that and said may his soul rest well.
Another resident who is a trader said they were expecting to hear that the Cardinal is back to the region as they were preparing to celebrate him but things turn out the other way.
